The series became restricted assets in early 2020 when Getty discontinued rights-managed licensing in favor of royalty free licensing they were not converted to royalty free, so they were taken down in late 2020. It was part of a series of images on Getty Images, which also includes the winter version used in a Longhorn demo, along with a summer version, an autumn version, an alternate shot of the autumn version and a vertical shot of an unrelated tree in Tuscany, Italy. The image also appears as a wallpaper option in a post-reset Longhorn demo, albeit with a more saturated sky and less cropped compared to the version used in builds. It is also the final default wallpaper in pre-reset builds, as the project was reset after build 4093. FiFi wrote: Windows Vista 5112-6000 with Classic style/Codename Longhorn Server 2007: Im pretty sure that was only the Classic button in some of the beta builds - Vista 6000 and LHS 6001 have the coloured Windows logo, except it is the new one that is lighter towards the centre, as opposed to the one on XPs Classic-themed start button. The version used in Longhorn has noticeably been heavily cropped, making the tree fill up more of the wallpaper. It depicts a tree at what is most likely Canada during springtime. It was taken by Andre Gallant, who also took TREE AT THE FOUR SEASONS IN WINTER (used in a Longhorn demo) and Windows Vista Starter's img725. Originally known as TREE, THE FOUR SEASONS IN SPRING, it was licensed from Getty Images. The default wallpaper of Longhorn in the WinHEC 2004 build and builds 4083 to 4093.
